seeing some guy present really slowly, seeing
Algie nervously speeding through her presentation and
deciding not to go chill with anyone (Too bad
if you find me anti-social), I rediscovered
something I enjoy doing.
It's called taking an open air 74 from school
towards hougang.
But there are conditions
1. The bus has to be open air, and double-
deckered. (deckered sounds so much
nicer than decked)
2. It must be an off-peak hour, so that
there will be less people on the bus ( even
better if there are none), and less vehicles
on the road.3. The driver has to stay in the left-most
lane, and must drive at at least 25km/h,
or whatever speed is good for breeze, also
the driver must not drive jerkily, as in the
driver can be a jerk, but must drive smoothly.
4. I have to have the seat further behind on
the upper deck that has 2 window openings
(okay, one-and-a-half) on the left side by
myself. (It should be, for it is an off-peak hour)
5. Less than 3 red lights are encountered.
This experience is enhanced by it being
either an early morning where the air is cool,
fresh and crisp (These effects are generally easier
to feel around the better forested areas like the
area from Adam road to MacRitchie)
After I got down, I thought about taking the
bus back up again so I could ride it down home
again...
And today, Forward O Peasant! caught my eye,
so I'll be using a bit of my 1 week term transition
break to read it.
